Drive Me Crazy is a romantic comedy film directed by John Schultz and released in 1999. The movie stars Melissa Joan Hart as Nicole and Adrian Grenier as Chase.

Nicole is a popular high school student who is obsessed with being the center of attention and maintaining her social status. Chase is a rebellious outsider who has a reputation for being a troublemaker and doesn't care about fitting in. Although they have known each other for years because of their close proximity, they have never been close friends or shown any interest in each other.

However, when Nicole finds out that her ex-boyfriend is coming back to town for the school's centennial celebration, she realizes that she needs a date to make him jealous. She decides to ask Chase to pretend to be her boyfriend for two weeks, in exchange for helping him with his dream of getting a date with his crush. The two of them begin to spend more time together and soon become inseparable as they bond over their shared love of music and their mutual desire to break free from their predetermined stereotypes.

As they try to convince their friends and families that they are in a real relationship, Nicole and Chase begin to realize that their feelings for each other may not be entirely fake. They start to question whether they should continue their plan to make their crushes jealous or if they should follow their hearts and pursue each other instead. Eventually, they both come to the realization that they have been falling in love all along and decide to go public with their relationship.

Drive Me Crazy is a fun and lighthearted rom-com that explores themes of identity, friendship, and teenage love. It features a great soundtrack and memorable performances by its lead actors.
