Dinger and Bobby, two high school students in Los Angeles, have their lives turned upside down when they receive a magical pair of sunglasses that belonged to a deceased magician. The glasses allow the wearer to enter and control the dreams of others.
Excited by the possibilities, Dinger and Bobby experiment with the glasses, using them to manipulate their schoolmates and enjoy wild fantasies. However, things take a dangerous turn when a group of thugs led by a wealthy and eccentric man named Becker learn of the glasses and set out to steal them.
With Becker and his henchmen hot on their trail, Dinger and Bobby must use their newfound dream-controlling powers to escape danger and keep the glasses out of the wrong hands. Along the way, they encounter a range of bizarre and surreal scenarios, from battling cowboys and cavemen to being transported to a 1950s diner.
As the chase intensifies, Dinger and Bobby also confront their own personal struggles and learn valuable lessons about friendship and responsibility. Will they be able to outsmart Becker and his goons, or will their adventures in dreamland come to a tragic end?
