DragonHeart: A New Beginning is a fantasy adventure film released in 2000. The story follows Geoff, an orphaned stable boy who dreams of becoming a knight. While exploring the forest, he discovers Drake, the last remaining dragon in the world. Despite initial fears, the two become friends and Geoff begins to help Drake recover from a wound.
As they spend more time together, Geoff learns that Drake is the last of his kind because his heart has been stolen by an evil sorcerer. Determined to restore the dragon's heart and save his life, Geoff sets out on a dangerous journey with Drake by his side.
Along the way, they encounter numerous challenges and face off against villains who want to capture or harm Drake. They also team up with a wise old monk who helps them on their quest.
As they come closer to their goal, Geoff and Drake begin to realize the true meaning of friendship and sacrifice. In an epic battle with the evil sorcerer, they must work together to protect each other and defeat their enemy.
DragonHeart: A New Beginning is directed by Doug Lefler and features the voice talents of Robby Benson as Drake, Harry Van Gorkum as Lord Osric, and Rona Figueroa as Lian. It is a sequel/prequel to the original DragonHeart film from 1996 and received mixed reviews upon its release.
