Dragon Rider is an animated movie based on the novel of the same name by German author Cornelia Funke. It tells the story of Firedrake, a young dragon who seeks a safe haven away from human hunters and destruction of dragon habitats. Firedrake is joined by two unlikely companions - a boy called Ben and a forest brownie named Sorrell.
