Dragon Eyes is a 2012 action film directed by John Hyams and starring Cung Le, Jean-Claude Van Damme, and Peter Weller.
The story takes place in the fictional city of St. Jude, which has been overrun with crime and corruption. Hong, a martial arts expert who has recently been released from prison, arrives in St. Jude and is immediately drawn into the conflict between rival gangs and crooked cops.
Hong begins to use his fighting skills to take down the criminals who are terrorizing the neighborhood, teaming up with local residents who have grown tired of the violence and want to take back their community. Along the way, he encounters a former mixed martial artist turned drug kingpin named Tiano (Van Damme), as well as a corrupt police detective named Mr. V (Weller).
As Hong continues on his mission to rid St. Jude of its criminal element, he discovers that there is a larger conspiracy at play. He must use all of his fighting skills and moral courage to take down the corrupt system that has allowed the criminal underworld to flourish in St. Jude.
