Dragon Ball Z: Lord Slug centers around the arrival of a powerful Super Namekian named Slug on Earth. With an army of minions at his disposal, Slug plans to take over the planet and make it his new home.
The Z Warriors, led by Goku, are immediately alerted to the threat and engage in battle with Slug and his forces. However, Slug proves to be a formidable opponent, with powerful regenerative abilities and the ability to go giant.
While the Z Warriors fight against Slug and his minions, it is revealed that he was once a peaceful and wise Namekian who was corrupted by the desire for power and immortality. His henchmen, led by a mysterious humanoid named Medamatcha, are former minions of Frieza who have aligned themselves with Slug in an attempt to gain favor with their new leader.
Throughout the film, the Z Warriors must battle not only Slug and his minions but also the elements, as Slug's plan to terraform Earth into a new Namek threatens to cause catastrophic environmental damage.
In the end, Goku discovers that Slug's weakness lies in his sensitivity to high-pitched noises. Using this knowledge, he unleashes a powerful burst of sound that weakens Slug enough for him to be defeated by a united effort from the Z Warriors.
As the film ends, the Z Warriors are able to prevent the environmental disaster caused by Slug's terraforming, and Slug himself is left to ponder his fate in the emptiness of space.
