After Gohan is kidnapped, Garlic Jr. intends to use him as leverage to obtain the Dragonballs and make his wish for immortality. Meanwhile, Goku, who is spending time with his son, receives a distress signal from Kami, the Guardian of Earth. He senses that the Dragonballs are being used for nefarious purposes and rushes to the scene with Piccolo and Krillin.
As they arrive, they find themselves faced with a powerful army of henchmen working to support Garlic Jr.'s quest for immortality. Despite the odds against them, Goku, Piccolo, and Krillin push forward in their attempts to rescue Gohan and stop Garlic Jr. from achieving his goals.
The trio's efforts are nearly thwarted when Garlic Jr. gains access to the Dragonballs and summons the Eternal Dragon, Shenron. However, their determination prevails, and they are able to stop Garlic Jr. before he can complete his wish.
In the end, Gohan is rescued, and the Dragonballs are returned to their rightful place. Goku, Piccolo, and Krillin are left to reflect on their battles and the importance of always remaining vigilant in the face of evil.
