Dragged Across Concrete is a neo-noir crime thriller film directed by S. Craig Zahler. The film stars Mel Gibson as Brett Ridgeman, an older police officer, and Vince Vaughn as Anthony Lurasetti, his younger partner. They both get suspended from their job for using excessive force while arresting a suspect. Low on money and with no other options, the two cops decide to take matters into their own hands.

They start to delve into the criminal underworld to earn some quick cash. However, as they move deeper into the criminal world, they discover that they have bitten more than they can chew. They come across a dangerous group of criminals who are involved in drug trafficking. Despite their best efforts, they soon find themselves in a web of corruption, conspiracy, and violence.

Meanwhile, a third subplot focuses on a recently-released ex-convict named Henry Johns (played by Tory Kittles) who is trying to turn over a new leaf by leading an honest life. As the story progresses, their paths cross and intertwine, leading to a final showdown.

The film received mixed reviews upon release, but was praised for its strong performances, tight direction, and gritty aesthetic. It also gained attention for its controversial subject matter, as it touches upon issues such as police brutality and racism. Despite the controversy, the film has gained a cult following among fans of the crime genre.
