In the movie Draft Day, Sonny Weaver Jr. (played by Kevin Costner) is the general manager of the Cleveland Browns. On the day of the NFL draft, he is under pressure to make the right decisions and rebuild his team. The Browns have the seventh overall pick, but Sonny believes that the team needs a quarterback and decides to trade up to the number one pick.
The decision to trade up comes with a price, and Sonny must make some tough choices. He must decide what is more important: getting the quarterback he wants or keeping his current players.
