Horror,Drama,Fantasy  United States of America

Dracula's Daughter is a 1936 horror film directed by Lambert Hillyer. The movie is a sequel to the 1931 classic horror film Dracula and is loosely based on the short story "Dracula's Guest" by Bram Stoker.

The film begins with the death of Count Dracula and his daughter, Countess Marya Zaleska, seeking the help of Dr. Jeffrey Garth, a psychiatrist, to cure her vampirism. She wants to be cured of her vampiric cravings and live a normal life, free from the curse of her father's bloodline.

Dr. Garth is skeptical at first but agrees to help her. The Countess invites him to her castle in Transylvania to help her with her therapy. Marya is struggling to suppress her vampire urges, and her cravings for human blood are becoming harder to control.

As Dr. Garth works with Marya, he begins to fall in love with her. Meanwhile, Professor Van Helsing, who had defeated Count Dracula, is suspicious of Marya's intentions and sets out to destroy her.

The film's climax involves a dramatic confrontation between Dr. Garth, Van Helsing, and the Countess, as they fight to prevent her from becoming a full-fledged vampire and causing more harm to innocent people.

Dracula's Daughter was ahead of its time, portraying Dracula's daughter as a tragic character who longs to be cured of her vampiric cravings. The film became a cult classic and is regarded as one of the greatest films in the horror genre.
