Dr. Giggles is a horror movie released in 1992. The film follows the story of Evan Rendell, a young boy who witnessed his father, a local physician, being lynched by the townspeople after he was accused of killing several patients in an attempt to find a replacement heart for his ailing wife.
Thirty-five years after the murder of his father, Evan escapes from a mental institution and returns to the small town of Moorehigh. He is determined to exact his revenge by killing off the residents of the town one by one. Evan, now going by the nickname "Dr. Giggles", dresses up in his father's medical attire and uses his surgical instruments to commit the murders.
Meanwhile, the film introduces Jennifer Campbell, a teenage girl suffering from a heart condition. She is living with her overprotective father who is also the town's sheriff. Jennifer, along with her friends, decides to explore the abandoned Rendell house out of curiosity. They stumble upon Dr. Giggles' lair and witness him brutally murder one of their friends.
As the body count rises, Jennifer and her father must find a way to stop Dr. Giggles before he can claim his final victim - Jennifer herself. The movie is filled with bloody and gruesome scenes, with Dr. Giggles showing no mercy to anyone who crosses his path.
In the end, Jennifer manages to outsmart Dr. Giggles and kill him, but not before he causes chaos and destruction in the town. The movie received mixed reviews upon release but has since gained a cult following amongst horror fans.
