Doomsday Mom: The Lori Vallow Story is a made-for-TV movie that chronicles the real-life events surrounding the disappearance of Lori Vallow's two children, JJ and Tylee. In 2019, Vallow's estranged husband, Charles Vallow, was shot and killed by her brother, Alex Cox, in Arizona. Shortly after, Lori moved with her children to Idaho, where JJ and Tylee were last seen in September 2019.

The investigation into their disappearance uncovered a complex web of religious beliefs, including Lori's association with a doomsday cult. Her fifth husband, Chad Daybell, was also implicated in the case and later arrested.

The movie portrays Lori Vallow as a devout member of the cult, who believed that the end of the world was imminent and that her children were "zombies" who had been possessed by evil spirits. It also depicts the efforts of law enforcement to uncover the truth and the community's struggle to come to terms with what had happened.

Doomsday Mom: The Lori Vallow Story stars Lauren Lee Smith as Lori Vallow and Marc Blucas as Chad Daybell, and was directed by Bradley Walsh. The movie premiered on Lifetime on June 26, 2021.
