Don't Look Up is a satirical comedy film directed and co-produced by Adam McKay. The movie follows two amateur astronomers, Kate Dibiasky (played by Jennifer Lawrence) and Dr. Randall Mindy (played by Leonardo DiCaprio), who discover a giant comet heading straight toward Earth. They go on a media tour to warn the world of the impending doom, but quickly realize that no one seems to care.

The pair faces resistance from politicians, including the US President (played by Meryl Streep), who only cares about her re-election campaign, and her chief of staff (played by Jonah Hill), who dismisses the danger as a hoax. The masses are also more interested in their own distractions, such as social media and celebrity gossip, rather than paying attention to the warning.

As the comet draws closer, the astronomers become increasingly desperate to convince people to take action. They make numerous appearances on talk shows and news broadcasts, even recruiting a famous astronomer (played by Dr. Oolu) to endorse their findings. However, their efforts fall on deaf ears, and chaos ensues when the comet finally hits.

Don't Look Up is a scathing commentary on society's obsession with trivial matters and apathy towards important issues. The film features a star-studded cast, including Cate Blanchett, Tyler Perry, and Mark Rylance, and has received critical acclaim for its timely message and impressive performances.
