The movie opens with Donald Duck taking his nephews, Huey, Dewey, and Louie, on a road trip. However, the nephews are bored and uninterested in anything except their comic books. Donald becomes frustrated and feels like he’s wasting his time and money taking them on the trip.
While driving through the countryside, Donald comes across a sign that points to the “fountain of youth.” He decides to investigate and takes the nephews along with him. Once they arrive at the location, Donald tricks the nephews into thinking that the fountain has worked and that he is now a baby again.
However, things take a turn for the worse when they come across an aggressive mother alligator and her babies. Donald, in his baby form, gets tangled up with the alligator and her offspring, and the nephews must come to his rescue.
In the end, they manage to escape from the alligator, and Donald decides to return to his original form by reversing the effects of the fountain. However, he realizes that the experience taught him to appreciate the simple joys in life and to refrain from being so uptight and serious all the time. The nephews also learn to appreciate nature and the outdoors, and they enjoy the rest of the road trip with Donald.
