Donkeyhead is a touching drama that follows the story of Mona, a struggling writer who has given up on her dreams to care for her father, a Sikh immigrant living in the United States. Mona has always been the black sheep of the family, consciously rejecting their traditional values and shunning their expectations of her. Despite her father's deteriorating health, she remains steadfast in her belief that she is doing the right thing by caring for him.
When her father suffers a debilitating stroke, Mona's three successful siblings come to her doorstep.
