Dolly and Kitty are two cousins in Delhi who come from conservative families. Dolly is married to a man who is interested only in her body and treats her badly. Kitty, who has just moved to the city, is excited to explore the new place and make some money. But things don't go as planned for either of them.
While Dolly is desperately trying to find some confidence and happiness, Kitty realizes that the job she has is not what she thought it would be. The two women cling to each other for support and comfort. As they navigate through their problems, they discover some deep, dark secrets about themselves and their families.
Dolly and Kitty's journey towards freedom is not an easy one, and they both have to make tough choices along the way. But they hang on to each other, and their friendship becomes their biggest strength.
