Doctor Who: Dreamland is an animated television special that was first broadcasted on BBC One in 2009. It was written by Phil Ford and directed by Gary Russell. The story is set in the deserts of Nevada during the 1950s.

The special episode begins with the Doctor and his companion Cassie Rice, a young waitress at a local diner, stumbling upon an alien artefact that leads them to an underground laboratory. Along the way, they encounter a host of memorable characters, including a group of aliens known as the Wraxians, as well as the enigmatic and villainous Colonel Stark.
