Django is a biographical drama film directed by Etienne Comar, released in 2017. The film revolves around the life of Django Reinhardt, a legendary jazz guitarist and composer who was born in Belgium in 1910 and grew up in a Romani community.
The film is set against the backdrop of Nazi-occupied Paris in 1943, and follows Django (portrayed by Reda Kateb) as he becomes involved in the resistance movement after narrowly escaping a raid on a Paris nightclub.
