Checo and Chuma are two lifelong friends who have grown up in a tough neighborhood and have turned to a life of crime in order to make ends meet. However, after a close call with the law, they decide to turn over a new leaf and start using their skills for good.
As they begin to carry out acts of kindness and justice, they quickly realize that their newfound purpose is not without its challenges. They face danger from both their former criminal associates and the police, who are suspicious of their sudden change of heart.
Meanwhile, Chuma falls in love with a neighbor who has always been there for him, but he struggles with his own insecurity and fears of rejection. Checo, on the other hand, seems content to remain single and focus on their new mission, but he soon realizes that he too needs relationships and community in order to thrive.
Together, Checo and Chuma learn that their past mistakes don't define them, and that everyone has the capacity for change and redemption. As they work to make their neighborhood a safer and more caring place, they also discover the true meaning of loyalty, trust, and the power of love to transform even the hardest of hearts.
