Disciples of the 36th Chamber is a martial arts film that was released in 1985. After many months of intense training, Fong receives a yellow robe from a governor, which grants him immunity from the Manchu. Fong is torn between his desire for personal glory and his loyalty to the Shaolin temple. He eventually decides to use his newfound immunity to help the Shaolin temple and its people.
