The film follows a neuroscientist named Andre (Thomas Kretschmann) who is obsessed with finding a drug that can expand the human mind and enhance consciousness. With the help of a young researcher named Maya (Nadine Velazquez), Andre discovers an ancient and powerful hallucinogen that he believes could unlock the secrets of the human brain.
As Andre and his team begin experimenting with the drug, strange and terrifying things start to happen. One of the team members is possessed by a malevolent spirit that seems to feed off the drug, and as the body count starts to rise, Andre realizes that he has unleashed a deadly supernatural force that he may not be able to control.
