The movie Dinosaur Train: Adventure Island follows the Pteranodon family as they embark on a fun-filled adventure to a brand new theme park on a volcanic island. The park is run by Thurston, the Conductor's archrival, who shows off his pride and joy - a group of amazing robot dinosaurs.
As the family explores the park, an earthquake occurs that causes the pressure to build up too high, causing the malfunctioning robots to go rogue. Buddy and his siblings are separated from their parents and must navigate across the island while evading the dangerous robot dinosaurs.
As they make their way through the park, they encounter many obstacles, including hot lava, steep cliffs, and treacherous waters. Along the way, they make new friends and enlist their help in their quest to reunite with their parents.
As they journey through the island, Buddy and his siblings also discover the importance of working together and the value of family. In the end, they are able to overcome the challenges and dangers of Adventure Island and successfully reunite with their parents, while thwarting Thurston's plans and saving the day.
