Die Hard: With a Vengeance is the third installment in the Die Hard film series, released in 1995. Bruce Willis reprises his role as John McClane, a New York City police detective who must stop a terrorist from carrying out a series of deadly attacks on the city.
The film opens with Simon (Jeremy Irons), a terrorist mastermind, threatening to blow up a school unless McClane participates in his dangerous game. Simon sends McClane on a wild goose chase around the city, with the help of a reluctant and argumentative civilian named Zeus Carver (Samuel L. Jackson).
As McClane and Zeus follow Simon's clues, they discover that the terrorist's ultimate goal is to rob the Federal Reserve Bank of New York. McClane and Zeus must work together to stop Simon's plan and save the city from destruction.
Die Hard: With a Vengeance features plenty of action-packed set pieces, including a car chase through Central Park and an explosive finale set on a ship. Along the way, McClane and Zeus must also confront their own personal demons and learn to work as a team, despite their initial distrust and animosity towards each other.
The film was a critical and commercial success, grossing over $366 million worldwide. It remains a popular entry in the Die Hard franchise and a highlight of Willis' action movie career.
