The movie Dick Tracy is a 1990 action-comedy film directed by Warren Beatty. The film is based on the comic strip character of the same name created by Chester Gould in 1931.
The story is set in the 1930s and revolves around the titular character, Dick Tracy, a fearless detective who is trying to bring down the ruthless gangster, Big Boy Caprice, who is trying to take control of the city's criminal underworld.
