Upon crash landing in the Bermuda Triangle, the group of marine biologists realize that they have stumbled into a world that they had previously believed to be mythological – the lost city of Atlantis. The team, consisting of Dr. Julia Webb (played by Emma Stone), Dr. Cole Johnson (played by Chris Hemsworth), and their assistants, quickly begin to explore the underwater city, amazed by the advanced technology and structures that they find.
However, it soon becomes apparent that the city isn't as peaceful as it seems. The inhabitants of Atlantis are humanoid, and they are not pleased to see the group of outsiders. They capture the team and imprison them in a cell, where they are threatened with death if they try to leave.
It becomes clear that the Atlanteans have been using the piles of weapons and technology that have fallen through the Triangle over the centuries to build an army with the goal of world domination. Dr. Webb and Dr. Johnson must work together to find a way to escape and prevent the Atlanteans from unleashing their devastating plan.
As they explore the city further, they realize that there is a faction of Atlanteans who do not agree with the plans for domination, and these rebels become their allies. Together, they must come up with a plan to take down the ruling class and prevent the Atlanteans from causing harm to the world above.
Throughout their journey, they encounter many challenges, including treacherous sea creatures and deadly traps within the city. Amidst all of the danger, Dr. Webb and Dr. Johnson also develop feelings for each other, further complicating their already dire situation.
In the end, the group succeeds in stopping the Atlantean’s plan for domination and makes their escape from the lost city. However, the team members will never forget the amazing but terrifying adventure they embarked on in the Devil's Triangle.
