John Brock is not the only one searching for the relic. A group of Occult followers, led by a mysterious woman named Abaddon, are also after the relic and will stop at nothing to get it. They believe that possessing the relic will give them ultimate power and open the gates to Hell itself.
As John delves deeper into the Occult world, he learns that his family has a dark past tied to the relic and the creature he is seeing in his visions. His grandfather was part of a secret society that protected the relic for centuries, but something went wrong and the relic was lost.
John enlists the help of his estranged father, a retired Army colonel, and his sister, a scientist specializing in ancient artifacts, to return to the cave and find the relic.
