The Devil had promised the founder prosperity and success in exchange for the souls of the citizens of Burning Bush. The original deal was made centuries ago and was to be fulfilled on the night of the town's annual fair, which just happens to be quickly approaching.
Now, the Devil demands that the town's people honor the deal and hand over their souls. The citizens, of course, refuse. This results in the Devil unleashing his fury upon Burning Bush, causing chaos and destruction throughout the town.
