Devil Hunter is a 1980 Spanish-Italian exploitation film directed by Jesús Franco. It stars Ursula Buchfellner, Al Cliver, and Gisela Hahn. The movie tells the story of the young and beautiful model Laura, who is kidnapped by a gang of barbaric hunters while on a photoshoot in South Africa. The gang demands a large ransom in exchange for Laura's safe return.
Desperate to rescue their friend, two men, Peter and Tom, set off in a helicopter into the African jungle to find and save Laura. However, they soon find themselves in a world of ruthless violence and despair, struggling to survive in a savage and primitive landscape where the lines between human and animal are blurred.
As they search for Laura, they encounter tribesmen who engage in destructive and bloodthirsty rituals and worship a demonic god known as the Devil Hunter. The god demands human sacrifice, and Laura is chosen as the next victim.
Peter and Tom must face the terrifying and grotesque rituals of the tribe, as well as the seemingly invincible Devil Hunter, in order to save Laura before it's too late.
Devil Hunter is known for its violent and graphic scenes, including instances of rape and torture, that have drawn criticism over the years. However, the film has also gained a cult following among exploitation movie enthusiasts.
