The movie follows four teenage friends, Hawk, Lex, Trip, and Jam, who are huge fans of the rock band Kiss. They live in Cleveland where Kiss is scheduled to perform a concert. However, due to unforeseen circumstances, the concert is cancelled, and the boys are devastated.
Then, they hear that Kiss will be performing in Detroit, and they decide to embark on a road trip to attend the concert. But, they face many obstacles along the way, including a run-in with religious protesters who believe that Kiss promotes Satanism.
To make matters worse, they lose their cash and tickets, and they are forced to undertake odd jobs to earn money for the trip. They end up stripping at a club to win tickets and even end up robbing a convenience store to get the remaining money.
In the end, they make it to the concert, and the movie culminates in an electrifying Kiss performance that leaves the boys and the audience electrified.
