The movie Detective K: Secret of the Living Dead is a South Korean historical mystery film directed by Kim Suk-yoon. It is the third installment in the Detective K film series, following Detective K: Secret of the Virtuous Widow and Detective K: Secret of the Lost Island.

The story is set in the late 18th century during the Joseon Dynasty. A series of gruesome murders occur on Kanghwa Island, and Detective K (played by Kim Myung-min) is called upon once again to investigate. He is joined by his partner, Seo-pil (played by Oh Dal-su). As they dig deeper into the case, they discover that all the victims have one thing in common – they were all bitten by a vampire.

While investigating, Detective K meets a mysterious woman named Han Yeo-won (played by Kim Ji-won) who suffers from amnesia. As they work together to unravel the mystery, they develop a close relationship. However, Han Yeo-won's true identity and her connection to the murders become clearer as the investigation continues.

In the midst of the investigation, Detective K and Seo-pil come across a secret organization that is responsible for the widespread use of vampire blood in medicine. The organization will stop at nothing to protect their secrets, even if it means killing anyone who stands in their way.

With their lives in danger, Detective K and Han Yeo-won must race against time to solve the case and bring the culprits to justice before it’s too late. The movie provides thrilling action scenes and mind-boggling puzzles that will keep the audience on edge until the very end.
