The movie begins with soccer superstar, Hideo Akagi, receiving a threatening letter warning him of a bomb set to go off during his match against Ryusuke Higo's team, Big Osaka. Akagi enlists the help of Kogoro Mori and his young assistant, Conan Edogawa, to protect him and solve the mystery of the letter.
With the help of the Detective Boys, Conan deciphered the code which led them to a construction site where they found a bomb. However, the culprit behind the bomb, who is also a talented soccer player, managed to escape.
Meanwhile, during the soccer match, another bomb is discovered, and the game is temporarily stopped while the bomb squad tries to defuse the explosive. As the investigation progresses, Conan and the Detective Boys realize that the two bombs are connected to a past event involving Akagi and the culprit.
The climax takes place on the soccer field, where the culprit is finally revealed, and a thrilling showdown between the two soccer teams unfolds. With Conan's deduction skills, the mystery is solved, and the bomb is defused before anyone is hurt.
In the end, justice prevails, and the soccer match continues, with both teams playing their best game and Akagi leading his team to victory.
