As the stranger, named Julian Goddard, arrives in Las Vegas with Johnny Destiny, they encounter a quirky cast of characters who all seem to have their own agendas. Julian is determined to find his lost love, Lucille, and retrieve the money from the bank heist they pulled off years ago. However, he quickly realizes that the city has a strange and mysterious energy that seems to be working against him.
Meanwhile, Johnny Destiny seems to know more than he lets on, leading Julian on a wild goose chase through the city as they encounter eccentric fortune tellers, eccentric casino owners, and even a group of quirky nuns who may hold the key to Julian's destiny.
