Den of Thieves is a 2018 American action thriller film directed by Christian Gudegast and starring Gerard Butler, Curtis "50 Cent" Jackson, Pablo Schreiber, and O'Shea Jackson Jr. The movie revolves around a group of highly skilled thieves who plan the heist of all heists: robbing the Federal Reserve Bank in downtown Los Angeles.

The story is told from two perspectives: the thieves, led by Ray Merrimen (played by Schreiber), and the elite unit of the LA County Sheriff's Dept., which includes Detective Nick O'Brien (played by Butler) and his fellow officers. O'Brien and his team are determined to bring the robbers to justice, but as the heist draws closer, they discover that the criminals are more skilled and organized than they had expected.

The film features intense action scenes, car chases, and shootouts, as the two sides engage in a deadly game of cat-and-mouse. As the robbery unfolds, the stakes become higher and the lines between right and wrong become blurred, leaving both the thieves and the law enforcement officers questioning their loyalties and motivations.

Den of Thieves received mixed reviews from critics, but was praised for its intense action scenes and strong performances from its cast. It was a commercial success, grossing over $80 million worldwide. A sequel, titled Den of Thieves 2: Pantera, was announced in 2021.
