Den of Thieves is a 2018 American action thriller film directed by Christian Gudegast and starring Gerard Butler, Curtis "50 Cent" Jackson, Pablo Schreiber, and O'Shea Jackson Jr. The movie revolves around a group of highly skilled thieves who plan the heist of all heists: robbing the Federal Reserve Bank in downtown Los Angeles.
The story is told from two perspectives: the thieves, led by Ray Merrimen (played by Schreiber), and the elite unit of the LA County Sheriff's Dept., which includes Detective Nick O'Brien (played by Butler) and his fellow officers. O'Brien and his team are determined to bring the robbers to justice, but as the heist draws closer, they discover that the criminals are more skilled and organized than they had expected.
