Den Brother is a Disney Channel Original Movie that premiered in 2010. The film is directed by Mark L. Taylor and stars Hutch Dano as Alex Pearson. The story revolves around Alex, a high school hockey star who thinks he can do anything he wants. However, his outlandish behaviour gets him suspended from the team and he is subsequently forced to take a job as a leader of his little sister Emily's Bumble Bee troop.
At first, Alex is reluctant to take on the role of the den mother, but as he spends more time with the girls, he starts to enjoy it. He teaches them unconventional skills such as hockey moves and electronics, which the girls find cool. However, Alex's popularity fades away at school and he finds solace in his den mother duties.
As in most Disney movies, there is a moral to the story. Den Brother is no different, and its lesson is about teamwork and the importance of family. The movie ends with Alex learning his lesson and becoming a better person as a result.
Overall, Den Brother is an enjoyable family movie with a good message. It's not groundbreaking, but if you're in the mood for a light-hearted, feel-good film, it's worth a watch.
