As the social worker, Heather, begins to investigate the strange occurrences surrounding the girl, named Ruby, she discovers that the Jack in the Box toy in Ruby's possession seems to have a malevolent presence. The toy appears to have a mind of its own, causing havoc and death wherever it goes.
Heather enlists the help of a paranormal investigator, who confirms her suspicions that the Jack in the Box is possessed by a demon. Together, they must find a way to stop the toy before it claims more innocent lives.
