Louis, a man with an intellectual disability, lives with his sister Delia in a small town. After Delia is found murdered, Louis is immediately suspected and wrongfully accused of the crime based on his disability. Despite his protests of innocence, he is sentenced to 5 years in prison.
Upon his release, Louis is determined to clear his name and find out who really killed his sister. He begins to investigate on his own, meeting with old acquaintances and retracing Delia's last footsteps. He is visited by a man who claims to be one of the last people to see Delia alive and tells Louis that there is more to her killing than meets the eye.
Louis's personal mission to find the truth leads him down a dangerous path as he uncovers secrets and hidden motives surrounding Delia's death. Along the way, he meets and befriends a woman named Lily who helps him in his investigation.
As Louis gets closer to the truth, he discovers a shocking revelation that changes everything he thought he knew about his sister and her murder. With the real killer now in his sights, Louis must decide whether to seek revenge or forgive and move on. The film ends with Louis coming to terms with the truth and finding closure for both himself and Delia.
