Death Warmed Up is a horror movie that was released in 1984. It tells the story of a young man named Michael Tucker, who was hypnotized by a scientist named Dr. Archer. After being hypnotized, Michael is tasked with killing his parents, which he goes on to do.
Following the murder of his parents, Michael is sent to a mental institution where he spends several years. After being released from the institution as an adult, Michael returns to seek revenge over Dr. Archer, who he holds responsible for his parents' death.
With the help of his girlfriend and a group of friends, Michael sets out to confront Dr. Archer on a remote island where he is conducting his experiments. As Michael and his friends arrive on the island, they are greeted by a group of mutants who were the subjects of Dr. Archer's experiments.
As the group tries to make their way through the island, they are hunted down by the mutants who are controlled by Dr. Archer. Michael eventually confronts Dr. Archer and a violent showdown ensues.
Death Warmed Up is known for its gore and violent scenes, as well as its eerie soundtrack that adds to the overall horror. The movie was filmed in New Zealand and has gained a cult following over the years.
