In the movie Death Tunnel, the five college women are pledges of an unnamed sorority and are participating in an initiation stunt known as "Hell Night". They are locked in the abandoned Waverly Hills Sanatorium, a real-life hospital in Louisville, Kentucky that was known for treating patients with tuberculosis in the early 20th century.
As the night progresses, the women start to experience strange and terrifying occurrences, including ghostly apparitions and supernatural phenomena. They soon discover the hidden Death Tunnel, which was used to transport the bodies of deceased patients out of the hospital without the knowledge of other patients.
As they explore the tunnel, they are confronted by the spirits of the deceased patients, who are seeking revenge for the mistreatment they suffered while alive. The women must battle these vengeful spirits and overcome their own fears if they hope to survive the night and complete their initiation.
The movie is a horror/slasher film that was released in 2005. It was directed by Philip Adrian Booth and stars Steffany Huckaby, Melanie Lewis, and Yolanda Pecoraro. While the film received mixed reviews, it has gained a cult following over the years due to its creepy setting and chilling storyline.
