The movie Death to Smoochy stars Robin Williams as Rainbow Randolph, a children's show host who is fired from his job after he is caught accepting bribes from parents who want their kids on his show. In his place, a new host is hired, a colorful and lovable character named Smoochy the Rhino, played by Edward Norton.

At first, it seems like Smoochy is a perfect fit for the job. He is genuinely kind and cares about the children who watch his show. But Rainbow Randolph is not so easily forgotten. He becomes obsessed with getting revenge on Smoochy and will stop at nothing to ruin his career.

Rainbow Randolph begins to spread rumors about Smoochy, hoping to damage his reputation. He even hires a hitman to try to kill him. However, his plans are continually foiled by Smoochy and his friend and manager, Nora, played by Catherine Keener.

As the battle between the two hosts heats up, Rainbow Randolph's true colors are revealed, and the once-beloved host becomes a desperate and dangerous villain. In the end, Smoochy triumphs, and Rainbow Randolph is sent to prison for his nefarious actions.
