In the movie Death Sentence, Nick Hume, played by Kevin Bacon, witnesses the brutal murder of his oldest son during a gas station robbery. Consumed by grief and fueled by revenge, Hume sets out to find the killer and bring him to justice.
However, when the justice system fails and the killer walks free, Hume takes matters into his own hands and begins a violent and bloody campaign of vengeance against not only the killer but also the gang he belongs to.
