Death Race: Inferno is a 2013 action-thriller film directed by Roel Reiné as a sequel to Death Race 2. The movie stars Luke Goss as Carl Lucas/Frankenstein and Danny Trejo as Goldberg, along with Frederick Koehler, Tanit Phoenix, Robin Shou, Hlubi Mboya, and Ving Rhames.

The film follows the story of Carl Lucas (Goss), a former NASCAR driver who was falsely accused of his wife's murder and imprisoned in a maximum-security prison. Lucas has been participating in the brutal Death Race, a televised competition where prisoners race heavily-modified vehicles to the death. After winning four of his races, Lucas is just one win away from gaining his freedom.

However, just before his final race, Lucas and his team are transferred to another prison in South Africa to compete in the Death Race: Inferno, which takes place in the dangerous desert. The event is hosted by the ruthless and sadistic media mogul September Jones (Mboya) who forces her prisoners to compete in increasingly dangerous races for the sake of entertainment.

Lucas and his team must navigate the treacherous terrain of the desert, facing off against other skilled drivers and deadly traps, in order to win the final race and earn their freedom. Along the way, Lucas also comes face to face with his old enemy Goldberg (Trejo), who is also competing in the race.

Meanwhile, back in the United States, Caesar (Koehler), a former Death Race champion, is approached by a marketer named Travis Colt (Shou) who wants to franchise the Death Race program. Caesar sees an opportunity to cash in on his fame and becomes embroiled in a dangerous game of corruption and greed.

The movie is a thrilling and action-packed ride, with intense car chases, explosive stunts, and heart-pumping racing sequences. It also explores themes of redemption, loyalty, and survival in a world where life is cheap and entertainment is king.
