In Death Race: Beyond Anarchy, Connor Gibson (played by Zach McGowan) is a skilled Black Ops specialist who is sentenced to a maximum security prison after he is betrayed by his own team and falsely accused of a crime. While in prison, Gibson is recruited by the ruthless and powerful Weyland (played by Danny Glover), who offers him a chance to participate in the deadliest and most extreme Death Race in history.
The Death Race is a brutal and violent car race that takes place inside the prison, where the inmates are given heavily modified cars and weapons to fight and kill each other on the track in exchange for reduced sentences.
