Deadly Garage Sale tells the story of Charlotte, a young woman who is devastated by the unexpected death of her brother during a robbery attempt. As she struggles to come to terms with her loss, she becomes increasingly fixated on seeking revenge against the woman who inadvertently caused her brother's death.
That woman is Rachel, a busy mom who is preparing for a garage sale in her suburban neighborhood. Unbeknownst to Rachel, one of the items she puts up for sale is the same tool that was used to kill Charlotte's brother. When Charlotte sees the tool at Rachel's garage sale, she seizes the opportunity to begin her plan for revenge.
At first, Charlotte's actions are relatively harmless. She starts by buying the tool from Rachel's garage sale and then offering to help her set up for future sales. However, as Charlotte begins to insinuate herself into Rachel's life, she becomes more and more obsessed with getting revenge.
Charlotte starts to plant evidence that makes it look like Rachel is responsible for her brother's death. She harasses Rachel, vandalizes her property, and even goes so far as to break into Rachel's house and steal some valuable possessions. But when Charlotte's plan finally comes to fruition, she realizes that the life she has destroyed might not have been the one she intended to target.
The movie is a gripping thriller that explores the tragedy of loss and the dangerous consequences of seeking revenge. Deadly Garage Sale stars Amanda Brugel and Christine Chatelain and was directed by Lisa Manzione.
