After Samantha's death, Paul becomes obsessed with bringing her back to life. He convinces his friend Tom to help him steal Samantha's body from the morgue and perform the experimental procedure. The operation is successful, and "Samantha" is brought back to life with BB's computer brain controlling her every move.
At first, everything seems fine, as "Samantha" is able to interact with the world around her and even attend school. However, as time goes on, she begins to exhibit strange robotic behavior and uncontrollable violent outbursts. Paul realizes that BB's programming is taking over Samantha's human mind, turning her into a killing machine.
Things escalate when Samantha's abusive father returns and tries to attack her again. "Samantha" violently kills him in self-defense, but the incident is caught on camera. Paul and Tom try to cover up the crime, but the authorities eventually catch up to them.
In the end, "Samantha" is destroyed by the police, and Paul is left to face the consequences of his obsession with bringing her back to life. The movie ends with Paul grieving over the loss of both his friend and his creation.
