Shannon Hughes, a home renovator, has taken on a new project of renovating a grand old Victorian mansion, known as Grey House. She's excited about breathing new life into an old building and is ready to start working on it. However, Shannon's excitement is short-lived when she discovers the dead body of the local banker, who had visited Grey House for a meeting.
As the renovator of Grey House, Shannon is drawn into the investigation and begins to uncover clues that suggest the banker's death was not an accident. She decides to use her construction skills to find the killer and bring them to justice. But as she investigates further, she realizes that almost everyone in the town has a motive for the murder, including the banker's wife, business partners, and angry clients.
