Dead Tone is a horror-thriller film directed by Brian Hooks and Deon Taylor. The story follows a group of friends who attend the University of Dreyskill and are celebrating the end of their semester by playing a game called "Dead Tone". The game involves calling strangers and trying to scare them, and the winner is the person who scares the most people.
However, things quickly take a dark turn when one of the calls leads to the accidental death of a well-known politician's son. The group is hunted down by a psychotic killer who is seeking revenge for their involvement in the accidental death. The killer systematically picks them off one by one and begins taunting them with threatening phone calls.
As the night turns into a bloodbath, the group realizes they must band together if they hope to survive until morning. They are aided by a police detective who is assigned to investigate the politician's son's death. The detective tries to piece together what happened and finds out that the killer has been on the loose for some time, targeting people who play the "Dead Tone" game.
In a twist ending, the group finally confronts the killer and discovers the shocking truth about who is really behind the murders. Dead Tone is a suspenseful and chilling thriller that reminds us that sometimes, the games we play can have deadly consequences.
