Dead Snow is a horror comedy film that follows a group of medical students who venture into the Norwegian mountains for a ski trip. While there, they discover a piece of World War II history - a battalion of Nazi soldiers who were left to die in the mountains. As they continue their ski trip, the students begin to notice odd occurrences and find themselves being hunted down by the undead Nazi soldiers.
The students quickly realize that they must fight for their lives against the zombie Nazis and work together to survive the night. As they battle the undead soldiers, they also uncover a dark secret about the Nazi battalion's past and uncover the key to defeating them.
Full of gore and dark humor, Dead Snow is a unique twist on zombies and Nazi history. The film was directed by Tommy Wirkola and premiered at the Sundance Film Festival in 2009. It has since gained a cult following and spawned a sequel, Dead Snow 2: Red vs. Dead.
