Dead Night

Horror  United States of America

"Dead Night" is a horror film that revolves around Casey Pollack, a devoted mother who is searching for a cure for her daughter's serious illness. To this end, she decides to take her family on a vacation to a secluded cabin in the woods.

As they settle in, strange things begin to happen, and what was intended to be a peaceful vacation turns into a nightmarish ordeal. Casey begins to hear voices, and her behavior becomes increasingly erratic. Her husband, James, becomes concerned and seeks help from a local physician, Dr. Whitney.

However, as things spiral out of control, it becomes clear that Dr. Whitney may not have Casey's best interests at heart. Things come to a head when a group of strangers arrive, setting off a chain of violent events that threaten to tear the family apart.

The film employs a unique narrative structure, telling the story from two different perspectives. Through flashbacks and conflicting testimonies, we see the events of that fateful night unfold, leading to a shocking conclusion.

"Dead Night" was directed by Brad Baruh and stars Brea Grant as Casey Pollack, whose descent into madness is one of the film's most compelling aspects. The ensemble cast also includes AJ Bowen, Sophie Dalah, Barbara Crampton, and Elise Luthman.

Overall, "Dead Night" is a tense and unsettling thriller that delivers plenty of scares and a few unexpected twists. It may not be for everyone, but horror fans looking for something different should definitely check it out.
