After being married to his love, a former gunfighter named Jack retires from his violent past and settles down in the small town of Copper Creek. He owns and runs a small saloon with his wife while enjoying the peace and quiet life they have built together.

However, their peaceful life is soon interrupted when a group of bandits led by a notorious outlaw, "The Kid," ride into town and start causing trouble. Jack tries to peacefully resolve the situation but ends up in a gunfight with The Kid, leaving him dead. Unfortunately, The Kid was the younger brother of the town's corrupt mayor, Martin Walker.

Walker, fueled by his anger and thirst for revenge, accuses Jack of murder and uses his power to have him arrested and put on trial. Jack's wife and the town's people know of his past and believe in his innocence, but they fear Walker's influence in the town's justice system.

As Jack awaits his trial in jail, his wife takes matters into her own hands and starts investigating The Kid's gang with the help of a retired sheriff. They uncover evidence that The Kid and his men were planning a big heist, and Jack only killed The Kid in self-defense.

During Jack's trial, his wife presents their findings to the court and proves his innocence. The corrupt mayor is arrested for his misdeeds, and Jack and his wife are finally able to live peacefully together in their small, quiet town once again.
