Dead Man on Campus is a 1998 comedy film directed by Alan Cohn. The film centers around two freshman roommates at a university, Josh and Cooper. Josh is a responsible, hardworking pre-med student, while Cooper is a rich and carefree individual who loves to party and drink alcohol.

Josh, who wants to maintain his perfect academic record, tries to distance himself from Cooper's antics. However, when he learns of a campus policy that states that if a roommate commits suicide, the other will receive straight As for the semester, he convinces Cooper to join him in a pact to find a suicidal roommate.

As the chaos escalates, Josh realizes the error of his ways and tries to stop the madness before it's too late. The film ends on a positive note, with Josh and Cooper both passing their classes and reconciling their friendship.
